Research meets practice - Fraunhofer IPA visits Weiss Robotics

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming an enthusiastic team from the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) to Weiss Robotics. Joining us were specialists from the departments of Robot-Assisted Assembly and Disassembly as well as Artificial Intelligence.

Innovations in dialogue

At the heart of the visit was an in-depth exchange on current developments in automation technology. Our guests presented exciting research projects, some of which successfully incorporate gripper systems from Weiss Robotics. In return, we offered insights into our latest product solutions for intelligent handling and precise robotics.

Meaningful Exchange

What followed was a lively dialog about challenges, future prospects and common objectives in the field of automation technology. The intensive exchange clearly showed how valuable cooperation between research and industry can be - especially when it comes to making innovations tangible.

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Al Assadi and his team for their visit and the inspiring conversations. The shared touchpoints between research and application leave us excited for what's to come—we’re already looking forward to future joint projects full of potential.
