Gripping hand in hand
High-performance industrial gripper makes its mark in collaborative robotics
With the CRG 30 gripper module, Weiss Robotics has struck the perfect balance: this servo-electric small-part gripper is ideally suited to collaborative robot applications, yet its robustness and reliability also make it perfectly suited for industrial use. In addition to a generously dimensioned stroke and sensorless gripper force control, the new gripper features an absolute position measurement system that reliably and quickly determines the finger position upon switch-on without the need for a reference run.
The CRG 30 was designed specifically for human-robot collaboration. Rounded edges and a safely limited gripping force make the gripper a flexible tool for collaborative robots. The CRG 30 complies as standard with the DGUV recommendations for collaborative robot systems as well as the requirements of the ISO/TS 15066 standard, thereby significantly simplifying the mandatory risk assessment of the system in collaborative robot applications.
