Among other things, Weiss Robotics is presenting the new IEG Plus gripper series in Heilbronn

Alongside its smart grippers, the Ludwigsburg-based company also provides GRIPLINK, which enables straightforward integration

On 10 and 11 May 2023, Weiss Robotics will be presenting a wide range of smart grippers at the ‘All About Automation’ trade fair in Heilbronn. Alongside the new IEG Plus series for handling applications, the WPG300-120 smart plug-and-play gripper will also be on display at stand B-205. And, of course, visitors to the stand can see for themselves just how easy it is to integrate servo-electric grippers using GRIPLINK.

“‘All About Automation’ is the ideal platform for us to engage with our existing and new customers,” explains Sascha Wittig, Head of Sales and Marketing at Weiss Robotics. “Very often, they come straight to our stand with their problem.” Weiss Robotics has once again reserved an area on its stand for such enquiries. This is because the opportunity to receive advice on the spot has proved its worth for the Ludwigsburg-based company.

IEG Plus Series for safe handling

The ultra-compact and reliable gripper modules of the IEG Plus series are ideal for safe handling tasks. Thanks to the integrated gripper force control, even difficult-to-handle parts can be handled safely. Up to four different gripping patterns can also be stored in the module, allowing the gripping range and gripping force to be optimally adapted to the object being handled.

Plug-and-play with the WPG300-120

For the trade fair presentation, a Denso robot was fitted with the ultra-flexible WPG 300-120 gripper, which boasts a gripping force of over 300 N and can be connected directly to the cloud.

GRIPLINK for smart integration

GRIPLINK acts as a sort of ‘bridge’ or ‘link’ to which a servo-electric gripper, a vacuum pump, a sensor or another tool can be connected – very easily, without the need for costly and time-consuming changeover times on the production line. This enables customers to make their production processes more flexible and future-proof using servo-electric gripper modules.
