Just grip it. The new GRIPKIT CR EASY.

With CR EASY, Weiss Robotics is expanding its GRIPKIT range to include a high-performance gripping solution for cobots, which significantly simplifies the transition to collaborative gripping technology.

Weiss Robotics’ GRIPKIT technology is a universal platform for the seamless integration of smart gripping modules into modern cobot applications. As an out-of-the-box solution, GRIPKIT contains all the necessary components for system-level and mechanical integration. The supplied plug-in and numerous sample programmes relieve the user of the otherwise time-consuming task of integrating the gripper module into the robot controller.

The new GRIPKIT CR EASY now expands the product range of the Ludwigsburg-based gripper specialists to include an easy-to-use entry-level solution for collaborative robot applications, enabling even beginners to set up pick-and-place applications in no time at all. GRIPKIT CR EASY is compatible with cobots from Universal Robots, Techman Robot and Doosan Robotics.

With its design specifically focused on safety and integrated sensorless gripper force control, the GRIPKIT CR EASY is suitable for a wide range of applications. Its adjustable gripping force of up to 200 newtons and an adjustable stroke of up to 30 mm make the CR EASY a true all-rounder for collaborative applications. The gripping parameters are set directly via the USB interface integrated into the gripping module. During operation, the parameters are then selected via the cobot’s Tool-IO interface.

Thanks to its powerful gripper detection, reliable handling of workpieces is guaranteed throughout the entire gripping process, even in demanding applications.
